Paška sirana d.d. was founded in 1946 as a Agricultural community. in the year 1960 by uniting of the communities Pag, Novalja, Kolan and Povalja and works under the name General agricultural community Pag. As GAC it works until 1968 when the Agricultural communities Povalja, Kolan and Novalja split up, and the Agricultural community Pag joins the Working organization „Zagrebacka mljekara“, where it works as hre OOUR. In that system it works until 1975 when it joins teh W.O. PAG as one of the OOUR. In 1977 it seperates from W.O. PAG and works alone as W.O. „Paška sirana“ PAG. By turning a governement company in 1992, a joint-stock company arises which is based in the ammount of 5.795.200,00 kunas, and is split up into 7.244 shares each valued at 800,00 kunas.
